Dear Friends and Members of Kadlec Neurological Resource Center,

On behalf of those who have benefited from Kadlec Neurological Resource Center’s (KNRC) unique resources and programs, please accept this invitation to renew your membership, or become a member and partner with KNRC.  We need your help.  Please complete the enclosed membership form and help us to continue improving the quality of life of those affected by neurological disorders.

As you likely know, 2009 has been a very productive year for Kadlec Neurological Resource Center.  We provided education and support to more than 4,500 people through our support groups, educational presentations, library resources, and newsletter.  The gratitude and appreciation expressed by those we served in 2009 has been incredible.  We are indeed fortunate to have KNRC in our community!  We are a unique agency—the only known agency that provides education and support for those affected by a vast array of neurological disorders in the United States.

2010 also promises to be an outstanding year.  We are excited to bring New York Times best-selling author, Lee Woodruff, to the Tri-Cities on April 30.  Lee is the wife of Bob Woodruff, the ABC Correspondent who sustained a massive brain injury while on assignment in Iraq.  The Woodruffs have co-written a best selling memoir titled, "In An Instant," describing how their family persevered through this intense time.  Lee is a dynamic speaker.  Please mark your calendars!  Further details will be published in the NeuroTransmitter in March and April.

Your 2010 membership dues will help us continue to improve the quality of life of those affected by neurological disorders and increase the number of “lucky ones who have found the center.”   Please help support our programs with your membership.

Please also consider KNRC in your end-of-year giving, as we are a non-profit agency and your membership and donations are tax deductible.

Thank you,

Karen Hayes, M.A.
